New Desinganad Scans, situated in the heart of Kayamkulam and which is one of the most prominent and historic towns in Kerala, has been operating with a commitment to proper health care of the people and accuracy in diagnosis as its hallmark. Beyond the realms of health care, the New Desinganad Scans continues its journey in tandem with the community, offering medical aid funds and conscientization classes on proper health care. It was the long cherished dream of the reputed entrepreneur and the founder of New Desinganad Scans, Sri. T. Sadanandan to ensure quality health care for Kayamkulam. In addition to this, he held the vision of a holistic development of Kayamkulam close to his heart. Even though he could not fulfill his dream during his lifetime, his younger son, Dr. Sethu Sadanandan, a well-known radiologist and the managing director of Desinganad Scans took up the responsibility of pursuing and bringing to fruition the visionary dream of his father.
New Desinganad Scans offers the services of specialised doctors, experienced radiologists, and skilled lab technicians to ensure precision in diagnosis and reliability in treatment. In the contemporary world, where nurturing beauty has attained top priority, Dr. Sethu Sadanandan held some reservations about the people of Kayamkulam often travelling long distances for skin treatment. A question popped up in his mind: why shouldn't Kayamkulam has a skin clinic of its own? - and it is this thought that led him to the idea of opening a skin and hair care clinic. Later he embarked on a vast and extensive research in this field and obtained a fellowship in aesthetic medicine. Eventually this led to the opening of Dr. Sethu's Glow skin, a spacious and modernised aesthetic clinic, on 9 February 2025, on the second floor of New Designanad Scans. Dr. Sethu's Glow skin stands as a perfect testimony to skin, hair, and laser treatment, and also as a destination with doctors who have proven their expertise.

Dr. Sethu Sadanandan is a passionate healthcare leader whose work bridges advanced diagnostics, aesthetic medicine, and community service. As the Managing Director of two of Kayamkulam's leading healthcare establishments — New Desinganad Scans and Dr. Sethu's Glowskin — he is committed to making world-class healthcare accessible right here in his hometown.
After completing his MBBS (2002–2008) at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences and MD in Radiology (2010–2013) at Annamalai University, Dr. Sethu trained extensively in advanced imaging — including MSK Fellowship, General Ultrasound, CT/MRI reporting, CT Angiograms, and USG/CT-guided procedures. His professional journey includes significant roles at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, Metro Scans, Karunagappally, Muthoot Scans, and Kayamkulam Taluk Hospital.
Inspired by his late father, Sri T. Sadanandan, Dr. Sethu envisioned a center that combined precision, compassion, and accessibility. Today, New Desinganad Scans is a trusted name for accurate diagnostics and patient care, while also spearheading health awareness programs and offering financial aid for the underprivileged.
Recognizing the need for modern skin and aesthetic treatments in the region, Dr. Sethu pursued a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine and Fetal Medicine, eventually launching Dr. Sethu's Glowskin on 9th February 2025 — Kayamkulam's first dedicated aesthetic clinic. The clinic provides advanced solutions in skin, hair, and laser care, eliminating the need for residents to travel far for such services.
Balancing roles as a radiologist, aesthetic physician, entrepreneur, and social contributor, Dr. Sethu continues to work with a single mission — to ensure Kayamkulam grows healthier, more confident, and more empowered.
